Creating Your Account
Section titled “Creating Your Account”- Go to app.busybook.co and click Sign Up
- Enter your email and create a password
- Verify your email address
- You’ll be taken to the setup wizard
Setup Wizard
Section titled “Setup Wizard”The setup wizard walks you through configuring your practice. Here’s what each step covers:
Step 1: Agreements
Section titled “Step 1: Agreements”Review and sign the Terms of Service and Business Associate Agreement (BAA). The BAA covers HIPAA compliance for handling client health data.
Step 2: Practice Profile
Section titled “Step 2: Practice Profile”Enter your practice details:
- Practice name — how your business appears to clients
- Your name — your professional name
- Phone number — your business phone
- Address — your practice location
- License number — your massage therapy license
- Bio — a short description for clients
Step 3: Services
Section titled “Step 3: Services”Add the services you offer:
- Service name — e.g., “Swedish Massage”, “Deep Tissue”, “Hot Stone”
- Duration — session length in minutes
- Price — what you charge for this service
You can add, edit, or remove services at any time from Settings > Services.
Step 4: Business Hours
Section titled “Step 4: Business Hours”Set your weekly availability:
- Toggle days on/off
- Set opening and closing times for each day
- The assistant and scheduling system respect these hours
Step 5: Booking Policies
Section titled “Step 5: Booking Policies”Configure how bookings work:
- Cancellation policy and notice period
- Whether to allow same-day bookings
- Buffer time between appointments
Step 6: Messaging
Section titled “Step 6: Messaging”Connect your messaging channels:
- iMessage — connect via BlueBubbles for client texting
- SMS — coming soon via Twilio
Step 7: Import Clients
Section titled “Step 7: Import Clients”Bring your existing clients into BusyBook:
- Upload a CSV file with client names, emails, and phone numbers
- Or add clients manually one at a time
Step 8: You’re All Set!
Section titled “Step 8: You’re All Set!”Your practice is configured and ready to go. Next: meet your assistant.
After Setup
Section titled “After Setup”You can change any of these settings at any time:
- Settings page — practice profile, account settings
- Services page — add/edit/remove services
- Scheduling section — business hours, reminders, automations
